Lightning Protection Installer
Install residential and commercial lightning protection systems — air terminals, down conductors, grounding, and surge devices — as part of a two-to-three person crew led by a licensed electrician.
$20–$28/hr based on experience
What you'll do
- Install air terminals, conductor cable, connectors, and grounding systems per design drawings
- Perform rooftop and ladder work following all safety procedures
- Install surge protection devices at panels and equipment
- Document completed work for UL/ARL certification filings
- Maintain tools, materials, and a clean job site
What you'll bring
- Comfortable working on roofs and ladders at height
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Mechanical aptitude; construction, roofing, or electrical experience a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida weather
- Willingness to complete lightning protection certification training (we sponsor it)
